Chef Nak

The Defender of Cambodian Cuisine

Chef Nak is Cambodia’s first female celebrity chef with the mission to preserve Cambodian cuisine and bring it to the world’s stage.

As passionate cook, successful entrepreneur, healthy lifestyle advocate, loving wife and mother of two, she shares her knowledge in form of books, online cooking shows and tours. Her unique recipes can be discovered in select partner venues, such as the luxurious Rosewood Hotel in Phnom Penh, for which she curates best-selling signature menus.

Her book Nhum, published for the first time in 2019, is a beautiful collection of almost 80 recipes and that has sold in over 35 countries around the globe.

The endeavour for her second book is even greater. Mahope on Sovannaphum (Food of the Golden Land) aims to collect forgotten recipes and stories from some of the remotest towns in Cambodia, document them and preserve them for the generation to come. A sign of love for Cambodia, its people and her dedication for culture and preservation.

"We believe that Khmer cuisine is an art form that sits proudly with Cambodia’s rich cultural artistic heritage. Through books, teaching, TV and film, social media and exclusive private dining experiences we hope to show the world the art of traditional Khmer living"
